Secure Record Storage versus Self-Storage or Large National Chains

You have two options for storing your own records; keep them in your office or in a self-storage facility. Neither of these options provides you with the efficiency and security of our records management.

While storing your records in your office provides you with easy access to them, there are many disadvantages. You are using valuable and expensive office space as warehouse space. Quickoffice is a great application that you can get for $19.99 from the App Store. It allows you to transfer files from your computer to your iPhone or iPod Touch as well as allowing you to be able to write Microsoft Office Documents straight from your device. Overall this is a great application that will be put to great use if you work in a business or are constantly typing things up. And yes, you can even copy and paste when working with word docs! However there are some flaws. Some of which include the fact that you CAN read Office ’07 docs (.xlsx and .docx) but for some reason you can’t EDIT them, this you can only do for documents preceding Office ’07. Also, you MUST have a computer to transfer your files… you can’t even open up an attached document you get from an email which is pretty disappointing.
